Some Might Say - Oasis sur Guitariff.net
As with the previous posting I'm doing this from memory so don't knock just correct. This is the latest single and took me a while to work out until a freind said "Oh that it's just D-blues". Whether this is true or not I don't know but this is how I play it anyway. I'd appreciate some help with the lyrics, they're just too damn wierd in places. The chords are probably more complex than this but it gives the right impression. Some Might Say - OASIS ====================== INTRO D Bsus? G A -22-22-22-22--22-22------------------------ -33-33-33-33--33-33---2-2---2-----3-----2-2 -22-42-22-42~~22-42---4--4---4----4-----242 ----------------------4---4---4---5-----2-2 --------------------0h2-----------5-----0-0 --------------------------------2h3-------- repeat with riff -----------------------------------------9-------------------------------- ---------------------------------------9---11-9----10-10-8-8-7-10-10-12-10 -11-9----11-11-9----------11-9-11-9-11----------11--9--9-7-7-7--9--9--9--9 ------12---------12-7-8-9------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Verse D Bsus? Some might say that sunshine follows thunder G D A Go and tell it to the man who cannot shine D Bsus? Some might say that we should never ponder G D A {There's another line here but I can't work out the words} Bridge G D A Some might say we will find a brighter day G D A Some might say we will find a brighter day Chorus D G Em G D G Em G I've been standing at the station in need of education in the rain D G Em G D G Em G Took no preparation, thought my reputation was to blame D G Em G D G Em G The sink is full of fishes, she's got dirty dishes on the brain D G Em G D G Em G Overflowing gently, but it's all elementary my friend Solo followed by disintegrating tune, back to verse Verse D Bsus? Some might say they don't believe in heaven G D A Go and tell it to the man who cannot shine {There's another couple of lines but once again I can't make them out} Bridge ( as before ) Chorus {chords as before} I've been standing at the station in need of education in the rain Made no preparation, thought my reputation was to blame The sink is full of fishes, she's got dirty dishes on the brain And my dog's been itching, itching in the kitchen once again @@@ This should be played with blues-esque hammering on which you should be able to work out from the song. The chord patterns I use are as follows They're probably not perfect, but with enough distortion/ reverb you can get away with it. D xx0232 Bsus? x2442x G 35543x A x0222x Em 0220xx I've also got the TAB for acquiesce if anyone wants it. -James ########################################################################### [email protected] I don't know what it is that makes me feel alive I don't know what it is that makes me cold inside - OASIS In the begining of his posting James Evans states it is prabobly wrong well, he was right. he says the bridge is like this: G D A Some might say we will find a brighter day G D A some might say we will find a brighter day when it is actually: Em D A Some might say we will find a brighter day Em C G Some might say we will find a brighter day these two are very different please correct them.
